Culbreath Isles
South Tampa's Most Exclusive Gated Waterfront Community
27 outdoor lighting installations. A relationship that began with tile and marble in the 1990s. Some homes lit by LED Artistry were tiled by the same hands over 20 years earlier. Tampa's most exclusive neighborhood — and LED Artistry's longest-standing community presence.
Tampa's Most Prestigious Address
Culbreath Isles is South Tampa's most exclusive neighborhood — one of the first gated, deed-restricted communities in Tampa, established in the 1960s and maintained to a standard that has kept it at the top of the Tampa Bay luxury market for over 60 years. The community features 24-hour manned security gates, deep-water canals with direct access to Tampa Bay, and grand estate homes ranging from $3 million to over $10 million in valuation.
The homes in Culbreath Isles are architectural statements — Mediterranean estates, Tuscan villas, colonial manors — with mature landscaping, private docks, and the kind of exterior hardscape detail that defines luxury construction: marble entryways, travertine pool decks, stone courtyards, custom balustrades. These are properties where every exterior detail is curated to the same standard as the interior.
LED Artistry has been working in Culbreath Isles for over 30 years — first in tile and marble, now in outdoor lighting. No other lighting company in Tampa Bay has this depth of history and trust in this specific community.

“I tiled that house 20 years ago. Now I'm lighting it for the new owners.”
LED Artistry founder Cory Glenn began his career in Culbreath Isles in the 1990s as a tile and marble contractor. For over a decade he installed the floors, the pool decks, the stone facades, and the decorative hardscape in these homes — learning their construction from the inside, surface by surface.
When Cory founded LED Artistry in 2008, he brought that knowledge directly into outdoor lighting. He knew which surfaces in which homes could be penetrated without damage. He knew how the grout joints ran. He knew where the conduit could route. He knew the substrate under the travertine.
Over time, some of those homes changed hands. New owners moved into properties Cory had tiled over two decades earlier. When they called around for outdoor lighting, neighbors pointed them to LED Artistry. The consultation began. Cory walked the property. And in more than one case, the conversation included the words: “I know this floor. I installed it.”
There is no other outdoor lighting company in Tampa Bay that can say that. It is not a marketing claim. It is a 30-year history of craftsmanship in a single neighborhood — visible in the tile, and now visible after dark.
Why Culbreath Isles Calls LED Artistry
LED Artistry founder Cory Glenn began working in Culbreath Isles in the 1990s as a tile and marble contractor. He installed tile, stone, and hardscape in these homes for over a decade before founding LED Artistry in 2008. When he returned as a lighting contractor, the neighborhood already knew his standard.
Several Culbreath Isles homes that Cory tiled 20+ years ago have since changed ownership. When the new owners called LED Artistry for outdoor lighting, they were calling a company that already knew every hardscape surface in the home — because the same hands that installed it are now lighting it. That continuity of craftsmanship is unique in the Tampa market.
Culbreath Isles homes are defined by their hardscape — travertine pool decks, marble entryways, stone courtyards, decorative concrete balustrades, paver driveways. LED Artistry's tile and marble background means we can install lighting in every one of those surfaces without a visible scar. The lighting looks like it was designed into the home during construction.
Most Culbreath Isles properties have direct canal access or dock frontage on Tampa Bay. Marine-grade dock and waterfront lighting in a saltwater environment requires fixture specifications and installation methods that standard lighting companies do not have. LED Artistry has completed waterfront lighting on deep-water canal properties throughout the neighborhood.
Culbreath Isles is 24-hour guard-gated. The homes are maintained to a standard consistent with a $3M–$10M+ valuation. The outdoor lighting has to match. A fixture that fades in two years, a wire run that shows at the surface, a balustrade with visible hardware — none of these belong in this neighborhood. LED Artistry's 20-year warranted fixtures and hardscape expertise deliver a result that does.
LED Artistry's work in Culbreath Isles has grown entirely through referrals within the community. When a neighbor sees a finished installation after dark — driving past, looking across the canal — they ask who did it. That question has generated 17 installations in the neighborhood over three decades. It is the purest form of quality validation.
