This is how a lighting design actually gets built — one layer at a time. Turn on the first floor. Then the second floor. Add the palms, the oaks, the walkway, the hardscape. Every layer here is uplighting, the technique we have built our name on over 18 years.

Lighting Zones
Every zone here is an uplight — the way we design every LED Artistry system.

Why Layering Is the Whole Game
Almost every disappointing lighting job has the same problem: one layer, applied everywhere. A row of identical fixtures across the front of the house, evenly spaced, all the same brightness. It reads flat, because your eye has nothing to travel toward.
A designed system works the way the simulator above works. The first floor gives you the base wash. The second floor and gable give you height, so the home does not stop at the roofline. Trees give you depth on both sides and frame the property. The walkway gives you direction and safe footing. Hardscape lighting ties the ground plane into the architecture. Take any one of those away and you can feel the gap — go turn one off and see for yourself.
Every Layer Here Is Uplighting
Uplighting means the fixture sits at ground level and aims upward. The light grazes the surface it hits, which is what reveals texture in stucco, stone, bark and tile — the detail that vanishes at sunset. It also keeps light out of your windows and out of your neighbors' eyes. It is our standard on every installation, and we only add downlights when a client specifically asks for them.
Our primary line is Garden Light LED, built right here in Tampa — brass-bodied fixtures made for Florida heat, salt and humidity.
Every fixture we install carries a 20-year warranty — one of the strongest in the outdoor lighting industry.
We bring real fixtures to your property after dark and light your actual home, before you spend a dollar.
Questions About the Simulator
It is an interactive tool that lets you switch individual layers of outdoor lighting on and off over a photo of a home, so you can see exactly what each layer contributes before you buy anything. This simulator uses a real sample Tampa Bay property lit with LED Artistry uplighting.
Uplighting is fixtures placed at ground level aiming up. After 18 years and more than 1,000 homes, it is the technique that produces the most dramatic and most reliable transformation — it reveals texture, gives a home depth, and it never glares down into windows or living space. Every standard LED Artistry installation is uplighting. We only install downlights when a client specifically asks for them.
Most homes we design use three to five layers. First floor uplighting and entry lighting form the base, then trees and path lighting add depth, and hardscape lighting finishes it. The simulator lets you stack them in any combination to see how they build on each other.
Yes, and it is free. We bring real fixtures to your property after dark, set them up on your actual walls and trees, and let you see the finished look before you spend a dollar. That is our free nighttime demo. Call (813) 999-6255 to book one.
It is our signature. Because LED Artistry came out of the tile and marble trade, we core-drill through pavers, stone and grout joints, run the wire, and seal it back up seamlessly. The result looks like the lighting was planned when the home was built, not added afterward.
