In 1992, Cory Glenn joined the Alvarez Homes contractor network as a tile and marble specialist. For sixteen years he installed tile, marble, stone, and hardscape surfaces on some of the most demanding luxury residential and commercial projects in Tampa Bay — learning the Alvarez standard from the inside: zero tolerance for visible imperfection, every surface restored to factory condition, every detail looking designed rather than installed.
When the housing market collapsed in 2008, Cory pivoted. He founded LED Artistry and brought that 16-year tile and marble background directly into outdoor lighting — solving a problem no lighting company had addressed: how to install fixtures on tile, grout, stone, marble, and concrete hardscape without damaging the surface, and how to make it look like the architect planned it during construction.
